The two main sources of funds for the CSDI were the Fund of Fund, a tax-exempt front of Bernie Cornfeld's IOS, and the Parvin Foundation, a front-parallel Parvin Dohnnan Co. of Nevada. IOS and Parvin Dohnnan-held controlling stakes in Desert Inn, Aladdin and Dunes, all casinos in Las Vegas that were associated with the Mafia crime syndicate, Meyer Lansky. In fact, the IOS acted as a channel for the distribution of LSD, hashish and marijuana during the 60s. [ 33 ]
